German Studies - Study Abroad for Graduate Students

Each year MSU sends one graduate student in German to Jena for two semesters. An ideal location for pursuing research, Jena also offers strong programs in German as a Foreign Language (DaF) and Germanistik. Students may take coursework and earn a living stipend by teaching conversational English and assisting with the reading and grading of papers. Fellowship support is available.
