The Center for the Enhancement of Linguistics Student Research (CELSR)

CELSRIn 1996, with the aid of a grant from President McPherson, the linguistics program established the Center for the Enhancement of Linguistics Student Research (CELSR). The center, upgraded in 2003, now includes 4 Power Mac G5 work stations, 4 PC work stations, a MS-DOS CSL acoustic work station and a Mac G5 work station also dedicated to acoustic analysis. There are 2 scanners, a laser printer, ethernet hookups for personal laptops, and software specifically designed for linguistics projects as well as direct connection to the University's microlab network, which provides a variety of additional software.

CELSRThe lab also has available a variety of recording instruments, a portable LCD projector, PC and Mac laptops, and two digital video cameras for fieldwork use and off-campus presentations. Please click the following link to see a list of equipment the lab has.
