United Union has adopted Arabic language since 1974 as one of its 6 official languages and United States government considers Arabic a critical language and makes scholarships available for students who elect to study it.
By studying Arabic, students will be able to gain an insight into the culture, heritage, literature and the religion of the Arab World, which extends from the Atlantic Ocean to the Arabian Gulf. Students can also enjoy traveling to the place of the birth of civilization, the cradle of the three monotheistic religions, and where 2/3 of the oil reserves are found.
Students studying Arabic may find careers in various fields, to name a few, media correspondents, reporters, translators, international finance and banking, international consultants, political analysts, oil companies, foreign service and academia.
