Yoshiko Tusda received her degree in education from Shiga University, a national university that specializes in teacher training. She has also taken graduate courses at Michigan State University in adult education and TESL in 1988. Yoshiko moved to the Grand Rapids area in 1991 and has worked both as a teacher and an interpreter/translator. She has taught the Japanese language at many different institutions including high schools, university, Japanese schools, and a children’s learning center.
