Linguistics PhD Student
Ni-La is a 6th year graduate student in Linguistics, with an additional specialization in Cognitive Science. She is currently writing her dissertation on the syntax and the acquisition of plurality in Vietnamese. A mentor for the Integrated Language Options (ILOs) program at the Residential College of Arts and Humanities since 2015, Ni-La will be leading the ILO research projects from 2017-2018. She enjoys soccer, swimming and camping, and is always enthusiastic to try new outdoor pursuits! Her favorite spot in Michigan is the Upper Peninsula.
